The Route 66 Beach Festival is coming Back to ARCADIA LAKE!

Live music, food trucks, beach games and a sunny Oklahoma weekend made the first Route 66 Beach Festival a party. America’s newest Olympic sport – Beach Sprints – made it a race experience like no other.

Beach Sprints

Beach Sprints will make its Olympic debut at the LA28 Games. Festival fans got a preview when the sport’s top athletes competed here at the Route 66 Beach Festival at Arcadia Lake. Everyone was cheering on these extreme athletes as they competed on the journey to LA28. Fans were just feet away watching the action in this exciting new race format. Check out race results below. Beach Vibes

We were feelin’ those good vibrations all day Saturday and Sunday with live music & DJs on the Route 66 stage at Edmond’s Route 66 Beach Festival. The tribute to iconic ’60s surf sounds with “Jan & Dean’s Beach Party“- live with Dean Torrence – was amazing! We’ll be doing it again next summer; stay tuned.

Beach Bites & Brews

Cold beer from Frenzy Brewing, burgers, beach BBQ. Throw in a frozen smoothie bowl and you’ve got a party. So much good food!

FOOD TRUCKS

Dragon Boat Racing

Just when you thought the racing couldn’t get wilder, we throw in dragon boating! Yes… it’s a thing. A really fun thing. 10 Paddlers. 1 Drummer. And a Steerer who’s guiding a 30-foot beast of a boat. We sorta made this one up and it turned out to be spectacular! Calling all dragon boaters for next year…
