Before the Beach Boys, There Was Jan & Dean
Jan & Dean’s Beach Party celebrates the iconic California surf culture of the 1960s and features founding member Dean Torrence, who collaborated with The Beach Boys in creating the legendary “California Sound.” This is the real deal, straight from the era that made beach music a thing.
What You Will Hear
Expect the retro beach vibes to be in full effect. The set includes Jan & Dean’s greatest hits like “Surf City,” classic Beach Boys covers, and a few rock and roll surprises. Sun, sand, and surf rock. It does not get much more on-theme than that.
