Matt Conner is the head brewer at Frenzy Brewing Co. and he brought the beer to the beach party. Everybody loved the beach favs: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah (Cause I’m a Blonde), Frenzy Pils, and #LakeLife because…obvious! If you don’t know Frenzy yet, check them out at the button below. Must be 21+ to purchase or consume alcohol.
Bondi Bowls Brings the beach
Bondi Bowls promises they’ll be “Bringing the beach to YOU! ☀️ ” with their nutritious Açaí, Pitaya and Smoothie Bowls, Smoothies, Juices, Health Shots, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade + Coffee Nationally known; locally owned. You’ll find them at the Route 66 Beach Festival and in Edmond at 136 E 5th St.
The Hangry Halo Mini Donut Company
You had me at donut! Try out the sweet treats from this family-owned and operated food trailer selling hot, fresh, made-to-order mini-donuts & boba lemonade available Saturday and Sunday.
B’s Smokehouse
You know there’s some good BBQ rolling up in that rig! B’s Smokehouse joined us from Tecumseh with all manner of meats, sides and desserts. Everything is handmade from their rubs and sauces to sides and sausage. Pass the napkins!
ROLLING REED EATS
We might just have to name this the Route 66 Signature SmashBurger. And nothing says beach like a teal beverage 😊 Rolling Reed Eats from Luther (just up Route 66) is brought all their signature goodness to the Beach Festival on Saturday and Sunday. They claim the best smashburger this side of the Mississippi and we verfied that at lunch on Saturday!
FRIOS!
We would love to tell you that Frios was made by elves, fairies, or Oompa Loompas because there is so much magic in these frozen treats on a stick (serious, serious amounts of magic but nothing illegal).
Frios pops are made with REAL ingredients- no science experiments here.
Frios started in a tiny garage years ago, trying to escape the doldrums of life. They call themselves “Happiness Hustlers” and we have to agree, everyone who had a Frios gourmet pop seemed pretty darn happy!
BEACH ACTIVITIES
FREE KAYAKING!
We’ll have a fleet of kayaks just waiting for you to get out on the water for some rec paddling. Ages 8+
SWIM BEACH!
A day at the beach has to include swimming! We’ll have floaties for you to bob around on, or bring your own.
BEACH GAMES!
Toss a frisbee, play some cornhole, build a sand castle. Bring your own gear or use ours. Beach balls, you ask? Bring ’em on!!
Mustang Mafia 405 Meet-Up
The meet up at the Festival happened noon – 3:30 on Saturday and we hope they’re coming back next year. American muscle cars dominated the Golden Age of cruising Route 66, and the Ford Mustang was at the head of the pack. These cars are amazing!
